Six of the courses on this iconic list have retained Todd Eckenrode – Origins Golf Design to provide consulting, renovation/restoration services on their golf courses. They have all been an enjoyable privilege to work on. Included on this list is the venerable Max Behr gem – Lakeside Golf Club shown above. Max Behr, a renowned writer, editor, and player in his day, originally designed Lakeside Golf Club, which opened in 1924. He was also the designer of a select few courses, to which Lakeside was his finest work. Legendary designer Dr. Alister MacKenzie referred to Behr as one of the best American golf architects.
Todd Eckenrode – Origins Golf Design’s projects also named to this exclusive list were – Valley Club of Montecito, Barona Creek Golf Club, San Diego Country Club, La Jolla Country Club and Hacienda Golf Club.
