Todd Eckenrode – Origins Golf Design is excited to announce the opening of one of the largest Putting Courses imaginable, at Maravilla Los Cabos, a private residential community on the coast of Los Cabos, Mexico. At over 50,000 square feet of overall putting surface on slightly under 2 acres, the Maravilla Putting Course features 18 holes, as well as a short-game area for putting, chipping and bunker play. The 18 holes are composed of six different putting areas, intersected by beautiful desert plantings and a system of rocky mini-arroyos, lending instant variety and excitement. The course was designed with many of the smaller loops of holes to be reversible, if desired. The course is night-lit and quite family friendly.
“We had a blast designing this project both on paper and in the field”, says Todd Eckenrode. “There are an incredible variety of twists and turns, long and short holes, holes set in bowls, or on plateaus with awesome views of the Sea of Cortez….it is tremendously fun to play!”
